am looking to get a new 55 inch tv, and am pretty set on a samsung that's on sale at bestbuy (plus I have another 10% off) I will use it primarily for gaming, netflix, and football. My only concern is the refresh rate of 120 hz. My parents had a similar sized samsung, and the input lag on it from my 360 was horrible. I don't want to get the same input lag for my xbox one. Should the refresh rate be a deal breaker for me?

Here is the link to the tv http://m.bestbuy.com/m/e/product/detail.jsp?skuId=6594127&pid=1219226754517

Apparently all these Samsung 55" LCD TVs have around 30-40ms total input lag, which is a bit high even for console gaming. It's not the the refresh rate that's the problem, but rather, it's all the extra processing that the image signal goes through (things like dynamic contrast, color "enhancements", motion clarity enhancements, etc). I don't know if this model you're looking at has a gaming mode that disables all the extra unnecessary features to reduce input lag, but if it doesn't, I'd imagine it'll be just as bad for you as on your parents' unit.
