TWO Laptops same brand same model, different SPECS which one is better?

Hey guys,

Assuming two laptops are same brand same model, cost the same
which one is better and why?



i7-4720HQ (2.6 Ghz) + 960m of 2gVRAM + 1TB HDD + 8 Gb Ram



or


i7-4710HQ + (2.4 Ghz) 860m of 3gVRAm / 1TB HDD + 128 SSD + 16 Gb Ram?

The second one. It's got a SSD and more RAM, which will have a greater influence on performance than the processor.

GTX960M is newer than GTX860, Clock is a bit higher so FPS are 5% higher also. In the other hand, are you sure SSD and Ram improve general performance? In gaming not so much.

I would go with the first option (GTX 960m) because you dont ned more then 8 GB of ram when gaming, but less then that it can be a problem.

If the GTX 860m is also GDDR5, it can be a even more difficult choice. (I would personally anyway go with the GTX 960m). You dont´t have to think about wich processor, because the i7 4710hq is more then enough, and the i7 4720hq isn´t that much of a difference.

So it´s up to you if you want a slightly better GPU or an SSD.
