.ty conversion . .

Has anyone had any luck converting large (2+ hour) .ty files? I've
tried tyc and TyTool9r18, but they both act wierd. tyc segv's, and
tytool's gop editor crashes. If I skip the editing part in tytool, I
still only get about the first 5 minutes of mpg (for a 2.5 hour movie).

Any ideas?

Yes.

I've done a 4 hour movie with TyTool9r18, no problems.

Some File Systems (FAT32, IIRC?), and some OSes (Win98? Maybe Me?), have
problems with files that are larger than 2GB. What OS are you using, and
what FS is on the drive?

You might search around the threads about the tools you are using on
DealDatabase.com. After searching, if you can't find anything, posting
there is more likely to get help than posting here.

Win XP lets you convert your Hard Drive to NTFS.
