Solved! Type of dvd decorder

Hello,
I just bought an external DVD but cannot play it.the computer lacks DVD decorder.where can i download the program for free and what type is suitable for my window-7?

With Disk drive powered up and pluged in.

Left click Start ( The blue orb with windows logo @ lower left )
Right click 'Computer'
Left click 'Properties'
Left click 'Device Manager' Upper Left
If there is a yellow mark @ 'Disk Drives' open it up and update driver.

If you need additional codecs down load 'K-Lite Codec Pack for your OS'
