ummm
i still have that game... to think about it i got it like 19 years ago from a friend... i never knew that game was so limited, since i and a couple of friend got it and used to play party with the Nintendo 4 controller adapter and the Super power PAD. I borrowed from my friend together with many other games, and together with a Atari 5600, Atari 16 bit console system, turbo graphics 16, Sega master system, Neo geo, and like 100 games for all those consoles.. i gotta go back to my country..

i have a hard time understanding 40k on an outdated game, even if it is rare.
Whoever bought this must have some emotional connection to the game beyond simple childhood memories. ESPECIALLY since he could probably download it at the discounted price of $0

I remember playing this game. A friend of mine had it with the power pad. I remember us cheating the long jump by just jumping off of the pad for a long them and then stepping back on. You could jump for miles. We would cheat the track races by using our hands. I can't believe this thing sold for $40,000. If my friend is reading this, he's kicking himself for not keeping his copy.

Dang! If I knew that all my childhood toys and games were going to be worth so much I never would have played with anything and kept them all factory sealed! Why did I have to abuse and trash them all?

[citation][nom]yiplong[/nom]Well, I sold my original Resident Evil game for $200 (PC version), so there is definitely a market for classic games out there.[/citation]

LOL fast forward 50 eyars from now , games like spore , Dead space , Stalker Clear sky, will most likely enver be worth much resale due to the fact that they all have some securom like DRM on them

[citation][nom]joebob2000[/nom]Here's to you, moron with $41,300 to burn! You could have bought some precious metal, some rare stamps or coins, or perhaps a nice rare painting. Instead, you have a super shitty Nintendo game whose code isn't even rare (only the way it was packaged).[/citation]
The value of a rare stamp is equally arbitrary. It's all in the eye of the collector. The material value is irrelevant.

[citation][nom]kc8dkt[/nom]Quick, some one call Nintendo and tell them they should get a $10 kick back for this used game sale![/citation]You only pay them $10 if you want the extra DLC. Then all you need is the NES 720K Floppy Drive and NES 1200 baud modem accessories!

Bet that other guy who bought a copy for $13,000 feels like he was wasted his money.

I was thinking of this exact same listing; but thinking the seller must be kicking themselves, because they obviously didn't know the value of their product. One wouldn't know Stadium Events was among the pack of five games he sold until you read the details.
