Unable to connect to Amazon Prime on my Vizio smart tv

My Vizio smart TV has the Amazon Prime app already installed. I try to register my tv on my computer in order to watch Amazon videos. The computer shows that the registration worked, but I am unable to get the tv to recognize that and let me play video. Netflix and other apps work fine. Help!! What am I doing wrong?

Is there any error message that you are getting? Try to clear cache and data for Amazon prime app. Then try to login again on your TV.

I've been having the exact same issue with my D32h-F1 I purchased in June 2018. Vizio says the tv is working fine. Amazon says it's Vizio's problem. Also, I've called Amazon and talked with a rep and been dumped off to Vizio tech support which didn't know why Amazon sent me there.

Amazon Prime is the only service I use so I don't know if Netflix or Hulu work.
