Just bought a new laptop (dell 7559) , ran windows update and noticed that the left audio output is about 30 percent stronger than the right one when wearing headphones. Tried to update the driver through device manager but no luck. Any suggestions what to do?

Solution
Go into your "Sound" settings (can search it or right click on speaker icon in bottom right hand corner). From there, select your default audio device and go to "Levels" (on the top bar), select balance (on the right hand side) and adjust it until it is balanced. Hope this helps :)

I suggest you to reset your sound settings or just reinstall your sound driver to make them default as previously they are. Please also check with any other audio file, may be it is just for a single audio file.

As audie-tron25 has said, Go to the Audio Manager which can be found in your taskbar. Find the option [there's a slider generally] for balance and try to set it to the middle. Experiment this while listening to something in your headphones and make proper adjustments.
