Universal Power Supply Work with my Laptops?

Theres this 90w universal power supply and I'm wondering if it works with my Compaq Presario R3000 and my HP Compaq Workstation 8510w

A 90w power supply would be fine for the 8510w.

You would need a 120w for the R3000, though.

But do you know if those supplys are compatible? Like if they fit in the power hole thingy? If I bought a 120w would it ruin my 8510w

The one you linked has a number of tips that you could use to fit into your power socket.

Technically, you could use a 120w adapter with the right tip to power your 8510w.

If I recall correctly, the tips determine how much power is drawn.

So the universal has the right connector that I could use it for both laptops not at the same time of course but.
