Solved! unknown usb device (device descriptor request failed)

That's the warning under device manager.

The thing is, there is nothing connected to the usB ports and all 3 usb ports work perfect. so i have no idea what the issue could be?

Have you tried rebooting (powering off and back on) the laptop to see if it goes away? It could be a ghost issue from when something was removed but not correctly.

Then try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver for it.

Should that not work, then I would scan the computer for both viruses and malware.

If it continues after that, then I would have the laptop looked at. May be a faulty port.
