Unkown Laptop Hardware Problem

Hello, about 6 months ago I had an laptop which i have thrown to floor beacuse my father closed my game and i got angry. After that I regret it and wanted to use it again. Than i sent to random guy in town to repair it and he told me i "replaced you HDD" but the pc only works while it on. After you shutdown you have to install the windows again. So can you guys figure out whats the problem? or he just replaced a broken HDD into my laptop.

Well if the hdd was replaced it sounds like the SATA connection in it is stuffed or something inside it

After some days i will having an spare HDD shall i try replace it and see if it works?

You could try. But did you replace the hdd before?

No. After that he told me he "replaced" it and if you shut down you have to install the windows again. I tried to on it and the windows startup load and load but nothing happens
