Unlock Verizon iPhone 4s

Wanted to switch from Verizon to smart talk but wasn't sure if and how to unlick iPhone 4s to make it compatible. I wasn't sure if they even open to put a Sim card in? Could someone please help me if possible. Thank you in advance!

Use Straight Talks page (or call them) to see if your phone is compatible. If it has a SIM card slot, it will be on the right hand edge something. In order to unlock it from the Verizon network, you'll need to call Verizon and purchase an unlock code.
