Unlocking a Sempron 145 second core

Hello,
Can I unlock the Sempron 145 Second core on an ECS IC780M-A2 motherboard (has the 770 chipset). I'm not sure if the board has the "Special ACC" or Unlock" technology. I can't seem to get past the repeating pop-up ads on the ECS website.

Check the board bios for an ACC setting, and set it to enable or auto. If the board won't post, it means your second core is bad, and you'll have to reset the bios by removing the board battery for a minute with the power supply unplugged. My second core on a sempron 140 is bad; tried unlocking on two boards with no luck.

Your motherboard has the SB710 which supports Advanced Clock Calibration.

If it cannot be enabled through your BIOS you may be capable of enabling it through AMD OverDrive.

Thank you both. I haven't bought the cpu yet for this budget build but I think I will get the Sempron 145 from newegg and give the second core unlocking a try on my ECS motherboard. Thanks again.
