Unlocking Galaxy S5 straight talk phone

Can anyone unlock Samsung Galaxy S5 phone purchased thru Straight Talk? They are giving me the run around & saying that they can NOT unlock it & will only buy it back for $89.50. I bought it from them for 649.00 over 2 years ago & just purchased the New Galaxy 8 from them for over 700.00 & wanted to give my mom the Galaxy 5 that I no longer use. After numerous attempts & hours on the phone to get them to unlock the phone so my mom can use it at Tmobile, they just hung up on me. Does anyone know how to UNLOCK It? I'm not selling it back to them for 89.....

Only straight talk can unlock straight talk phone. call again to get another customer service agent.

I have done that several times. Almost thought I had one that was going to do it, then was disconnected. When I call back, they give me the same story. No UNLOCK CODE, they will only buy it back for $89.50. Then I know they will turn around and unlock it and resell it. It's in perfect condition, not a scratch on it. Just want to give it to my mom.
