Solved! Upgrade 32 bit vista to 64 bit windows 7 acer laptop

I have windows 7 64 bit software and i want to upgrade acer laptop vista 32 bit. How do I do this? plz help.

backup all your personal data, download all the drivers you will need and put them on a cd or thumb drive, use win 7 dvd to format drive and install win 7, install all your drivers, restore the data you backed up, and off you go
