Upgrade Acer Aspire 3694 NWLM processor

Hi everyone, I have An Acer Aspire 3690 Laptop (exact model no is Aspire 3694NWLMI. It has the Intel Celeron M 440 CPU @ 1.8 GHz, 533 MHz FSB, 1MB L2 cash. I upgraded the hard disk from 80 GB to 500 GB and ram from 512 MB to 2 GB DDR2 to run windows 7, but I want to use a DUAL CORE or CORE 2 DUO CPU CAN I ?

Most likely not, as I believe that the cpu slot is different between celerons and most of intel's dual cores. Plus, the power requirements are different as well, which means that the chip probably wouldn't even work because it wouldn't be getting enough power.
