Upgrade advice ATX to laptop

Hi all,

Space limitations and WAF limitations are forcing me to go to a new laptop rig. Coming from a AMD Phenom x4 3,2 ghz quad core with a GTX 550ti GPU (and 16 gb ram / 500 gb HDD) I´m considering a step up to this laptop:

Latest 6th Gen. Intel® Core™ i7 processor
GeForce® GTX 960M graphics with ultra performance
SSD 256GB mSATA3
16 GB DDR4 RAM 2133 mhz

Will this be an upgrade that "feels" better on all fronts?

The video card is not really better, but the CPU and drive are. Gaming will be the same, speed or opening things will be faster.
