Upgrade graphics card notebook

I recently bought a notebook (but it is used) and the dedicated graphics card is broken.

Could I replace the graphics card by myself ?
Could I upgrade them ?

It maybe dedicated but it's still soldered to the motherboard, so you would need to replace the motherboard to fix a bad gpu.
