Upgrade or new laptop

Hey guys my laptop Acer aspire 4349 , 1.6ghz , 2gb ram , 320 HD is slow even after format with windows 8.1 or 7 .
laptop is so slow...no virus checked and it has expandable ram till 8gb so upgrade it or sell it?

depends on the use. I mean if you are using it to surf the net and watch movies then sure... upgrade to atleast 4gb ram and problem should be partialy fixed (1.6GHz dual or single core?) If you want to use it for... idk games or something heavy then ram wont help you
