Hello everybody. I was doing research about upgrading my laptop´s CPU, RAM and HDD and saw this forum.

So I bought a used MSI 7200 laptop for 50€ for daily stuff.
It has Celeron P4600. 4GB ram, 500GB HDD
I want to upgrade my CPU to i7 920XM its 35€ on Aliexpress. BTW the Socket is "G1 rPGA 988A" i think it supports 15-55w tdp but I´m not sure.
my RAM to 8GB. And my HDD to a 256 GB SSD
I´m also interested in eGPU´s maybe like GTX 950? idk

Should I do it?

I´m open for advices!

Solution
If you are going to spend money on this old system, you would be better served by saving to purchase a much more modern and capable rig. That is an approximately 10 year CPU (and system).

what about buying 15€ i7 cpu, making the ram 8gb and adding 240gb ssd and selling for profit? is it possible?
used laptops around here is usually min 30€ (they usually have problems and very old)

Up to you on how you spend your money, just keep in mind you could damage the system as a result and end up with parts and no system. I would not pursue this course of action.
