Upgrading Alienware M17x-R4 GPU

I burnt 3 GPUs so far in my Alienware but since it was under warranty, so Dell Replaced them. But now my 4th GPU is as well going bad and I experiences Crashes when gaming and sometimes During video watching & I am out of warranty as well.

I was wondering if I could replace the GPU with a Maxwell series NVIDIA GPU GTX 960M since its supposed to be low power consuming and I hope that translates as lower heating issues.
I would Like to know
1) If that is a Feasibility?
2) Is there a way to buy this Part in India?

Any advice would be of great help please.

Is this a laptop or a desktop? If it's a laptop it can't be done. If it's a desktop then I'm surprised that after three GPU replacements that Dell hasn't offered you a fourth.

Its a Laptop currently running a Nvidia GTX 675M and I am wondering if GTX 960M is a feasibility
