Upgrading from Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional

I'm about to install Solid Works on my computer and the manufacturer does not support Windows Home editions.

Should I upgrade to Windows 7 Professional and if so, what is the process?

It is rather simple. Go to your favourite online shop eg Amazon and buy a windows 7 professional upgrade DVD.

Put this in the computer and select upgrade now it is the same as when you set up your PC. Do this and done!

Back up your data first!
