Hey guys, i'm new on this forum. Now i've got a Sony E series Laptop with the following specs:

CPU: Intel® Core™ i3 - 370M (2.40GHz)
Graphics Card: Intel® HD Graphics 1.7 GB
Memory: 8 GB DDR3/1066MHz
Hard Drive: TOSHIBA MK3265GSXN 320 GB
Optical Drive: Optiarc DVD RW AD-7700H
Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (x64) Service Pack 1

I'd like to know if there is an option to add or upgrade to a graphics card such as the GeForce GTX 460.

The answer is no, you cannot upgrade or add a graphics card

You'll need to research your specific laptop model.
E series covers options with, and without, dedicated GPUs.
It's for certain it won't be anything like a GTX 460M.

and will not have a gfx port on the mobo.

Only the highest end gaming laptops have removable dedicated cards. almost all dedicated cards are still soldered onto the board.

Sorry to inform you but it is truly "impossible" there simply is no place to put it. The GPU is integrated into your processor.

Once you've figured out your exact model visit the Sony site to see what options it had available 'from the factory'.

If your model has options for a dedicated card you'll also have the option to have it upgraded with that card. It's not something you could do yourself.
So you'll be paying shipping costs, parts and labor to have it sent to the type of people who have the skill, tools and knowledge to do that type of upgrade.

upgrade agp on laptop is before purchase from online stores.
after purchase it with onboard agp there are no options or hardware to change it.
