Upgrading laptop screen?

Are laptops restrictive in what types of screens you throw in them? I have a Toshiba L755-S5103. It isn't the best laptop out there, but it seems ample for what I want to do with it. I was simply wondering if there would be much restriction if I tried upgrading the screen to a 1920x1080 screen since it currently has a 1366x768 pile of junk.

I've seen some 15.6 inch 1080p screens. What would cause them not to fit the casing? I suppose thickness? I figured it'd be more of a compatibility issue than one of size.

depends on your laptop's bezel if the screen will fit in the bezel or not

It seems like it has a similar bezel to most HP laptops.

I've looked it up and it seems the screen uses the same 40 pin layout so I've gotten the connector narrowed down. I guess it comes down to the bezel.
