Hello!

I'm currently using an HP Envy dv6-7308tx laptop with 8GB of DDR3 RAM and an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3630QM CPU with nVIDIA Geforce GT 635M (2GB Dedicated).

I would like to ask if it's possible to upgrade my GPU.
I'm assuming that dedicated means that it's not soldered on and can be changed.

Solution
Dedicated means that it uses memory of the graphics card. not that is is soldered on.

i am almost sure you cannot upgrade the gpu, as that laptops are not means for big upgradability and changing parts.

you always can use a external gpu. but if that is worth the time and money, is your decision to take.

GPU is soldered onto motherboard. Not replaceable.
