Question USB Headphones not working...

I have a usb generic non-brand headset with a microphone and my laptop will not recognize it.
My drivers are all updated, there are no problems with my headset, and I have already tried to disable/enable
my generic usb ports through my device manager.
Does anyone have any clue what to do about this?
I'm using windows 8.1 by the way.

Test with another system, if they also don't work there, contact support for the headset so you can exchange or return them.
