USB keyboard on laptop not accepting more than 2 keys

Hi , I am using a logitech k120 keyboard on a HP Pavilion 15 ab216tx laptop . I am having an issue while playing fifa . The issue is that if I press left + down and then shoot or pass or any other key , that action ( shoot or pass etc ) is not registered . I faced the same issue when using my laptop keyboard and now when I use the external USB keyboard . I heard mechanical keyboards as well as PS2 keyboards register more than 2 keys at a time . But in my case , the issue is with those particular two keys combination , if I press up + left or up + right and then an action then that action is registered along with the direction of movement . Is there any way to fix this ?

There is no way to fix this other than buying a keyboard that supports n-key rollover. This is a function of the keyboards design and the $15 k120 just doesn't have n-key rollover built in.

Click on any of the gaming keyboards from Logitech and look at the spec page towards the bottom of each keyboard it will show key rollover design. Many will have 26 key rollover.

ok , but how come when I press top + right + shoot , the player is shooting as well as moving in that diagonal direction ?

Welcome to the fun of keyboards and gaming. Sounds like this keyboard is allowing certain "key jamming" scenarios like arrow key combinations.

You can use this to see what key-presses are detected. Some keyboards will allow certain key press combinations but not others.

Thanks alot man . I use 'a' for through and 's' for pass. The darn keyboard doesnt register left + bottom + 'a' nor right + bottom + 's' . I might have to practice different key combinations

Since you are gaming I would just get a new keyboard You can google "cheap n-key rollover keyboard" if price is an issue.
