USB storage not detected by any PC!

Hi! I'm not sure if this is really a laptop related problem, it's more of a usb stick related problem but I didn't know where to post.
I need an old usb stick because I have some important information on it. The thing is... it used to work just fine, but now, when I plug it in any computer (laptop or desktop, tried from win xp to win 10, usb2 and usb3) it just does not show up and is nowhere to be found (not in my computer, not in device manager, not in disk management, nowhere). Is there anything I can do to make it work? Thanks!

If it does not work anyplace you tried, only thing you can do is try to fix it. Solder on a new USB connection, check the connection between the memory and the USB electronics.
