Solved! Use TV speakers on their own

Got a new TV the other day but screen was broken when it arrived so figured to try to do something with it. Wondering if it is possible to take out the speakers and rewire them so I can use them as a pair of regular speakers

Probably yea but TV speakers are not really very good compared to other speakers. Why would you rip apart a new TV? If it arrived broken either the delivery company or the vendor should replace it. TV speakers are nothing special, and you will need an amp to use with them. A small amp, those things are probably not rated much past 10 watts or so.
