Hi. I need a centre speaker for my Yamaha RV-479 and have a spare Soundlink Mini. I can splice a 3.5mm jack cable with banana plugs. Is it safe to connect the Soundlink to the centre speaker jacks? My setup is very small on space, so I can't use a normal sized centre speaker.

Thanks HangT9. Good thing I asked. Thanks for the links.

They look a bit big for what I've got to work with. The space below the TV and TV Unit is about 2 inches. Below the TV unit, I could put something there on the floor.

We'll figure it out.

Should be simple to find a place to mount them or put them in front of the TV. When you say TV Unit is that a TV stand or wall mount? Both the speakers I linked are as small as you will get for connecting to a receiver for the price and sound quality.
