Hey, so I'm pretty basic about audio in my computer, I have only gone as far as a USB headset. I want to connect a subwoofer to my PC while also using my headset at the same time. (Headset would be used normally, but I want the sub for deep noises like gunshots in games). Is there a way to have it set so my PC outputs to both my headset and sub? Thank you in advance!

Is the subwoofer powered? If so, then you could very easily output sound to both audio devices.

What you're looking for is software mixer. The one built into windows is can do this, it's called stream routing. The bad part is that it requires the application to support it.

Since I'm assuming your game doesn't support it, since most don't, we're going to have to mix before the application.

This program is a software mixer that uses a kernel mode driver to do the mixing so it should be supported by all applications.

You can also use the virtual audio cable driver by the same developer. Check their site for a download link.
