Using a realtek program for a VIA audio card?

Hello.

I'd just like to ask is it possible to have different audio manager than the one that came with the installation disc of the motherboard.

I got a new motherboard with a built in audio device, however when i install the software for the audio i see that the software for the audio is extremely basic and badly made, pretty much on/off and a few useless features.

So i'm asking is it possible to have for an instance a realtek audio manager ( better program) despite having a VIA audio card.

Yes. If both drivers are design for the same chip, however, you may not get the full function as the one found with the primary driver.
