Hi, I'm looking to start making youtube videos using my Nikon D3100.

I'm looking to do vlogging, mainly sitting in front of the camera reviewing products.

I want to know if there is anything I can do to be able to see what my camera is recording so I can tell if something is out of focus or out of shot. Is there anything I can do to help me with this?

Thanks in advance.

Most DSLRs have HDMI out connector. Check with your camera whether you can connect e.g. TV to that output, and use it for live monitor.

If you have sharp vision, two mirrors can do the same job ;)
