UX32VD-DB71 Battery and charger problems

Hi there.

I was really wondering if there was someone that could help me out with this one. Over the last week I have been having some battery issues with my ultrabook. I plug in the A/C charger and the battery charge suspends at 31%. The status of the battery is "plugged in, charged" and never goes any higher. If I disconnect the charger, the notebook shuts down automatically and does not turn back on unless its plugged in. Now, every since yesterday, the LED on the charger itself will blink green, then orange, than green, than orange, etc.

Does anyone know of a way to fix this without sending it to Asus for months in repair?

Go into Bios and look for BATTERY RECALIBRATION or something like it....

Or return it as faulty...

How old is it ?

Ive had the ultrabook since July of last year and had no problems until now. Around october I had opened the thing up to switch the hard drive to and SSd, could that have had an impact?

And I checked through the BIOS and couldn't find any battery calibration option

The SSD swap should make no difference if you were careful....
