value of unactivated att phone

i have a new galaxy s8 I received to replace a dead phone.Its not activated(ATT)and was thinking of selling it now before I activate it.Is it worth more unactivated?

Does not really matter, but if you don't want to use the phone it's a bit silly to activate it. The other thing is that it may be locked to your account and locked in general for AT&T.
