It's exec's that keep all the money and don't put back in the company. If the ISP doesn't have the bandwidth to support the users they need to put down more circuits down. I mean come on now... all the internet is is a bunch of optic lines carrying data back and forth. Server side don't cost that much. Think of the ISP's who have to resell the bandwidth because no one else wants to deal with it. Like my ISP who has to pay about 16 grand a month for two DS3's from AT&T. Throttling people will only create controversy. If that's the bandwidth you pay for then you should receive it. If not don't advertise it so high to catch those consumers who don't know any better.

That's the bottom line. Infrastructure costs money. Building bandwidth costs money. If "we" use more bandwidth, more money is needed to provide it. And it has to come from somewhere.

Either it becomes a public service, like highways, or it will have to become pay-for-play.
