Verizon texting calculating

Hello,
I have a Verizon texting plan and had heard that texting Family and other verizon customers was free. Is it true that texts to other Verizon customers do not count against my monthly text total?

Depends on what the plan is.

There are some others. You probably want to contact Verizon so they can tell you what your plan is.

best thing to do is go to one of their stores and ask. you can also switch plans if your current text plan does not support free texting.

I simply have their basic $5 plan from a couple of years ago I think I only get 250 messages a month. That's for me 'cause based on my history, I never sent / received more than 100 texts per month.
