Verticle lines

Hello, my 2 1/2 year old RCA HD TV has verticle lines through the picture. What gives?

99% of the time, it indicates a bad panel. If you have warranty, that is a guaranteed replacement as there are no replacement panels out there. If not covered, contact RCA and see if you can sweet-talk them.

I contacted RCA, and they told me to go to one off their service centers for repair.

How would you sweet talk them?
