Vga to 3rca cable color meaning

Hello, just bought vga to 3rca cable to link my laptop with tv. colours doesnt match, tried to plug in and change the wires, still doesnt work. please help

so how many posts are you going to make with the same brief info. man we need more info like what colors does the vga cable have and the tv does not. if it has a yellow cable and the TV has a yellow jack then thats all you need to get a picture. if not then you bought the wrong cable for your TV
