no vga port to my Smart TV..and my autom Laptop has no hadmi ...to connet my lappi to Tv i purchased one converter , its not working as vga to hadmi ...its working as hdmi to vga

If your TV has a component video input you should be able to use a VGA to Component adapter to connect your laptop.

HDMI to VGA works because HDMI can carry an analog signal, but it won't work the other way since VGA cannot carry the digital signal necessary for HDMI.
