the answer is simple , The burglar was likely looking for stuff he could easily walk away with , this excludes Pc's Tv's xbox , or any other large appliances or entertainment devices from the list of crap to steal. he likely took the cell phone of any tablet pc because those are easy to carry. however taking a cell phone rather dumb , most likely he took things like jewelry (if any) money, and small electronics.

waht's wrong with this train of thought is the simple fact that some one with kids NEEDS TO KEEP THEIR DAMN GUNS LOCKED UP !!!!! period. most people wil not have time to get a gun and load it in that situation , and if they got a gun that damn handy then maybe they are terrible parents. I PERSONALLY know a girl that blew her sister's boyfriends head off by accident trying to show him their dad's shotgun when she was 16 years old , yeah you'd think a 16 year old would know not to mess with guns well obviously they don't. SO LOCK YOUR DAMN GUNS UP.

also the main point for owning a gun is to hunt with it , if you are buying a gun for home protection then you a serious dumb a-- , get a dog take, self defense classes, having a gun for home defense will only end in one of several ways .


1. your kids blows their own head off
2. your psyco kids blows your head off
3. your dumb kid blows a friend's head off
4. burglar takes your gun first before you realize he is there and uses it on you .
5. you have a shoot out with a burglar (because they had a gun themselves) and you wind up getting shot yourself .
6. you realize you are a human being and can't live with yourself after taking another human life .. though now its too late because .. damn you already blew that burglar away. and teh gorey blood stain that never washes out entirerly on your wall is a constant reminder of the fact.
7. you shoot the burglar and live with yourself just fine , in wich case you are likely a complete psyco yourself just may never ahve realized it.
