Hated TOMS for a VERY long time for doing that and have dropped the forums since then. Just recently started to look at the articles again.

It's really beyond me that someone can read an article about a tech editor getting tased and somehow manage to throw in a Obama-bashing comment.

Imagine if they did it for 30seconds... It could have been messy-pants and a trip to the hospital. Then your video on youtube would be more infamous. :) Now after the experience, I guessing you'll continue to show videos of people being taZed and laughing at them.

BTW: The old THGames - I think many of us liked that your videos didn't seem to be kiss-butt to the game industry. You didn't like something, you'd let people know. Hope your next gig is working out well... whatever it is. (Bestbuy?) I haven't been to a CES in years, trying to get a PC product to market.

I remember my first visit to Tom's website... it was originally nothing more than a 3Dfx Banshee fan support site. Ah, the old days when us Banshee owners would upset Voodoo3 owners saying stupid silly things like "Voodoo3 is really a Banshee2" - which is true. Once you compare the card and feature set... 😉 And yes, a V3 murdered a Banshee.

It's all those guys can think about. I bet they have wet-dreams about Obama or of Americans in general. They are all over the internet. An article about balloon, Hubble space telescope, a horse race, state fair, roof blows off - there they are, blaming the black guy for their problems. ugh

Funny story about that. As I was waiting at the Taser booth for Jane to show up, we had the following text exchange:

Me: I guess I should hit the bathroom before I get Tased.

Jane: No! I want the money shot!

So you can buy consumer level tasers??!? And they last 6 times longer than the law enforcement variety? Wow, I want to get one of those. Of course, its probably illegal in most civilized countries, but a guy can dream.
 
For the record, it should be stated that Rob Wright was the worst boss of all time. He let me play video games and eat In N Out Burger all day, so every job that has followed thereafter has been a letdown.

+1 those were the good ole days still have my voodoo blaster banshee and voodoo5000
