Viewing vid/audio from sd card

Hi all. I have moved all my video and audio files from internal memory to my sd card to free up room on my phone. Problem is, now I can see them on the card but can't play them. Keeps coming up unsupported file type, even tho they are mp3/m4a etc. If I copy audio files back to internal, they'll play. Videos won't.
Any ideas?

Have a J7 Pro and being the music freak I am, I was running out of room to store my music and vids. So I put a new 32Gb (well within max size) sd card in , formatted it, and transferred it all across. But now, although i can see files, still same size namd and ext, they won't play from the card. 'File type not supported ' message even tho they are mainly mp3, mp4 or m4a files. Audio files will play once moved back to internal memory but videos won't. I have tried several different players witb no success.

Any ideas??? I'd appreciate any help.
