I have virtual PC on my win 7 PC, I have windows server 2008 installed via virtual PC. When my mouse pointer is inside server 08, how do I get it back on win 7. What are the correct key strokes plz?

Hold down the right <alt> key and move the mouse out of the window. Better still, install Guest Additions in your guest OS.

My terminology was not quite correct (thinking of other VM software) - it's called Virtual PC Additions. Have a look at: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824561 . This article doesn't list 2008, but I hope that Virtual PC now has additions for that also.

The additions not only make things easier (the mouse will just move between sessions) but should also improve the performance of the guest OS.
