Virus usually attacks the software and damages it .But my question is that does virus attacks the hardware parts ,i mean graphics card,hard disk,mother board,etc,?

Nope. I guess someone can write a virus to run up the CPU to 100% and try to overclock and maybe shut off the fans, but don't think I have seen or heard of one that does that.
