Vizio Smart TV model E280i and LG soundbar NB2520A.

The TV and soundbar combination won't work with HDMI. Not sure what I am doing wrong but there aren't many options on the TV. No optical out from the TV, just component which the sound bar does not have. The TV has a headphone jack, which is not how I want to connect to the soundbar.

you can use HDMI. see the red marked areas where to connect tv to sound bar
