vizio sound bar

If we don't want to use sound bar and turn it off as soon as you turn up TV volume soundbar comes back on. Why is this? M series 55 vizio with a 2.0 vizio sound bar brand new hooked to TV with the skinny optical wire thanks

Turn off any CEC and/or device discovery.

what is a CEC device the only thing hoped to TV is the sound bar and a cable box its a Motorola
