I live near and work in Chicago and our office uses a lot of AT&T services, primarily for WWAN service in our laptops. Around here service is good regardless of carrier, though Sprint, which is what I have, tends to be more consistent. I would consider getting the iPhone if it came to Sprint and if it were under $50. Otherwise I don't think it would be worth it for me personally as it is currently. I'm definitely not switching from Sprint especially to AT&T since Sprint is the only major carrier that doesn't interfere with audio or video signals, AT&T being the worst of that bunch. Regardless, more competition in the market is better all around for consumers. Better phones for a cheaper price. I say good deal.
