bye bye AT&T, but I do like their roll over minutes. If verizon or sprint data plan is cheaper, most diffinately I'll switch over.

Even if Verizon or Sprints plans were cheaper with the iPhone, I would pay the premium to keep the quality ATT service I have. What good is paying a bit less if the service doesnt work when and where you need it?

Services are different depending on your location, with ATT being the best around here. There is only one service with a signal strong enough to work in my office. I wouldnt pay $10 less a month just for the privilege of being able to NOT use my phone at work.

Quality might be relative but do you know who the actual service provider is in your geographical cell? Chances are it is not your service provider.

Yeah, I hate when I see stuff bashing AT&T's call quality and reliability all over the place. Because where I am it's number one. I even get nearly full bars in subway stations underground - where no one else with a different carrier does. There are plenty of places like that for me.

I live near and work in Chicago and our office uses a lot of AT&T services, primarily for WWAN service in our laptops. Around here service is good regardless of carrier, though Sprint, which is what I have, tends to be more consistent. I would consider getting the iPhone if it came to Sprint and if it were under $50. Otherwise I don't think it would be worth it for me personally as it is currently. I'm definitely not switching from Sprint especially to AT&T since Sprint is the only major carrier that doesn't interfere with audio or video signals, AT&T being the worst of that bunch. Regardless, more competition in the market is better all around for consumers. Better phones for a cheaper price. I say good deal.
