Vodafone video pass (work around)

Hello all, not exactly sure if anyone here can help butt worth a shot. So i have a 50gb a month vodafone 4g mifi router device. I added a pass onto it which allows us to watch Netflix and youtube un-restricted and doesn't affect our 50gb. This would be great only the sales guy had told me I could in fact watch Netflix on my smart TV no problem, but sadly this is not the case and vodafone have restricted everyone to watching netflix on their phones and tablets... I cant tether or even watch and or "hdmi connect" my laptop to the tv, laptops are also excluded. Im not very tech savy but I know certain things are possible and hacks are certainly possible, my question/idea is...?

Can I somehow change/trick my router device into thinking my smart tv is a phone and or tablet? Is this even possible?

Just a guess but could an android TV box be mistaken for an android phone?
Did you try using Chromecast to stream to the TV?

android box might be option, but sadly chromecast, firesticks,Smart Tvs, gaming consoles, laptops and computers are all exempt. We can only use a mobile phone and or tablet. Pretty shitty deal really
