Voice audio is very low when recording through Microsoft Expression Encoder 4 screen capture

Sorry in advance if posted in wrong section of the forums... so here's my problem: I am using my Turtle Beach X12s to record voice audio over Microsoft Expression Encoder 4's screen capture software. When I play back my screen cap recording w/ my voice audio over it, my voice is EXTREMELY low OR completely non-existent. Anyway I can fix this? Settings for the X12s that need adjusted?

Have you check for a mic boost option in the sound control panel. Most of them have one.
